aBOUT THE ARTIST:
Lauren Rushing is an art educator and multidisciplinary artist from Beaumont, Texas who currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas. Since she was 11 years old, she strived to show emotions and tell stories through self portraiture photography. In 2018, she graduated with a BFA in Art & Design from University of North Texas. Though her main focus was photography most of her life, she now incorporates that skill into her fibers artwork. When not creating rugs or taking photographs, Lauren enjoys plants and has a deep love for learning.
